Kevin Gerfen Receives Morsani Outstanding Staff Award
 Kevin Gerfen, an Assistant Director for the College of Education’s Watson Family Student Academic Success Center, is the recipient of the 2011-12 Frank and Carol Morsani Oustanding Staff Award.
Gerfen joined the College of Education as an academic counselor in 2006 and has been employed at OSU since 2001. He retired from the Air Force as a Major.
The staff award is named for the Morsanis, who have shown great generosity and support of Oklahoma State University and the College of Education. A 1957 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College, Frank is a noted entrepreneur and the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. In 2010, Frank and Carol received honorary doctorates from Oklahoma State University.
A committee of representatives from the faculty, staff, and students from the College of Education selects the outstanding staff member to receive the Award.
