Flight Center

The OSU flight training program has over 100 students enrolled in flight labs each semester. OSU labs cover the full spectrum of aeronautical training with Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multiengine, CFI, CFII and MEI courses offered. Flight training at OSU is conducted under exacting FAA Part 141 standards using a proprietary syllabus designed to emphasize Multiengine, IFR and “real world” operations. The Aerospace Administration and Operations, Professional Pilot Option is available through OSU-Stillwater and OSU-Tulsa campuses.

The OSU training fleet consists of C-152s, C-172s, C-172 & 182RGs, and PA-44 Seminole aircraft. Students begin their flight training during their first semester at the Flight Center, and a favorable student-to-aircraft ratio helps reduce training delays. Aircraft are maintained by OSU maintenance personnel and are in excellent condition.

The Professional Pilot option includes certification as a Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating (Single & Multi-Engine) and Certified Flight Instructor. The Professional Pilot program places a strong emphasis on Safety, Crew Resource Management and Human Factors. This option prepares individuals for successful careers in Professional Flight Operations.
