Philosophical FrameworkThe College Student Development Program seeks to educate, inspire, and make a difference with students who will improve colleges and universities through the leadership of and within student affairs organizations. Through our Masters of Science degree in College Student Development, we provide students with the educational experience and skills necessary to analyze and resolve educational issues and work in diverse environments with a wide diversity of students. The CSD Program seeks to enroll students who will learn and grow from our in and out of class experiences, steeped in a student development perspective, and who will significantly impact their institutions and the student affairs profession throughout their career. We endeavor to select students who have the highest possible likelihood for experiencing growth as an individual, the potential to lead student affairs organizations, the desire to advocate for students and educational causes and to work to foster learning centered environments while here at OSU and after they graduate.
