2012 COE & OWL Summer Camps College of Education and Oklahoma WONDERtorium and Summer Camps All camps will be held in Willard Hall and are for children ages 8 - 12 year olds. Camps will be Tuesday-Thursday from 10am - 3pm. To register for camps, click here. Take a virtual trip to the home of Michaelangelo, get swept away by the beautiful architecture, explore the exciting world of fashion, and learn more about favorite pastimes. But of course…no trip to Italy would be complete without enjoying and sampling Italian cuisine! Inventors July 10, 11 & 12 Einstein, Franklin, Da Vinci…Oh My! Are you the next great inventor? Come explore the inventions created here in our hometown, learn about patents and think outside of the box as you create your very own invention! Lights, Camera, Action July 17, 18 & 19 Come one, come all to the greatest show of all! Starring…You! Be a part of the action while learning about writing, directing, filming, and producing! Get the behind the scene scoop while exploring make-up, scenery, props and special effects! Learn the mechanics of the movies and go “on stage” as you become a star! Something to Write Home About! July 24, 25 & 26 Make the monsters under your bed come to life, become the president and create your own rules, create sausage sentences, create and act out stories, keep a discovery journal, develop wrong memory, and imagine where your magic carpet ride will take you. OWL and the College of Education partner with OSU Writing center to come together to help you write about your wildest experiences.
