Sponsored by College of Education Outreach Spring 2012 8-Week Non-Credit Course Classes Begin February 25 Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm Archery Field $50.00 Registration Fee The class is open to any current Oklahoma State University student, but is recommended for juniors, seniors and graduate students. • PGA Professionals/Instructors Pat Jenkins and Ken Morgan. • A PGA of America college and university golf program. • Designed to teach and engage students in the game of golf through PGA Professional instruction. • Designed to help students learn to play golf as well as understand how golf can be used as a business tool as they enter the professional world. • Program is due to a contribution from Scott Verplank, Hunter Mahan and Rickie Fowler - PGA Members, Ryder Cup Team Members, and OSU Alums. Course Goals: • Provide students a comprehensive introduction to the game and golf skill development. • Provide basic knowledge and understanding of rules, terminology, etiquette and history of the game. • Provide students with an understanding of golf as a business tool. • Create the desire and skills so students can become avid golfers.
Enrollment is limited to 20 students in each section.
