Student Opportunities

Practicum Experiences

OSU’s Counseling Psychology students have opportunities for a wide range of practicum experiences, including college counseling centers, community clinics, child study centers, schools (elementary, middle, and high school), psychiatric and medical hospitals, and the VA. We have two of our own counseling training clinics including the OSU Counseling and Counseling Psychology Clinic and the OSU-Tulsa Counseling Clinic supervised by our own licensed psychologists.

Our practicum placements offer a wide variety of clinical and assessment experiences, including some placements that are paid. Most of our practicum placements are located in Stillwater, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and surrounding communities. We continue to have an excellent match rate for our students in practicum placements each year.
