MS in Counseling - Clinical Work

Practicum Opportunities

OSU’s Counseling students have opportunities for a wide range of practicum experiences.

Our practicum placements offer a wide variety of clinical and assessment experiences, including some placements that are paid. Most of our practicum placements are located in Stillwater, Tulsa, Oklahoma City and surrounding communities. We continue to have an excellent match rate for our students in practicum placements each year.

In addition to training under licensed counselors in our program clinics, theCounseling and Counseling Psychology Clinic in Stillwater and theAl Carlozzi Center for Counseling at OSU Tulsa, students also gain experience at university counseling centers, community clinics, schools (elementary, middle, and high school), child study centers, psychiatric and medical hospitals and the VA.
