This graduate certificate is designed for students with a minimum of a bachelor's
degree who seek to work in a variety of fields to promote healthy emotional development
of infants and toddlers, including clinical practice, early childhood education, healthcare
professions and nonprofit administration.
This program prepares you to integrate research, theory and practical application
of infant mental health principles in a developmental and attachment-based perspective.
You will also gain competence in areas needed for Infant Mental Health Endorsement.
Successful completion of this certificate program requires 15 credit hours (five courses)
of graduate-level coursework in human development and family science. Credit hours are transferable to additional graduate degree programs.
