Biomimicry at Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park

This 12-day, three-credit hour, academic travel course to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks takes learners into the heart of the American west to explore man’s relationship with, and impact on, the world in which we live. Guided tours through scenic areas of the Greater Yellowstone Area will provide learners with authentic applications to the principles of nature as they relate to biomimicry and sustainability. Engage in mindfulness and reflect on the applicability of nature’s Life Principles in Yellowstone National Park, ranked #1 among the Seven Natural Wonders of North America. Participants will view majestic waterfalls and canyons, explore Yellowstone’s thermal features, hike the park’s abundant trails and observe wild animals in their native habitats on this “bucket list” learning adventure.
