Western Europe

International Studies in Design, Housing & Merchandising

Examine the science of consumer behavior through a research lens while exploring the rich history and diverse cultures of the British Isles and France. This 2-week travel course to Western Europe is preceded by four, one-hour, pre-trip lectures. While abroad, daily tours and targeted experiences have been specially selected to help you develop you own global competencies. Throughout the course, you’ll make important, professional contacts and investigate the research methods that drive decision-making in the Design, Housing, & Merchandising industry. You’ll return to OSU with the vibrant memories of ancient castles and modern cities- as well as a better understanding of the psychological, social, and anthropological aspects of consumer behavior.
