Curriculum Studies Project Lectureship Set for October 9

The OSU Curriculum Studies Project annual distinguished lectureship will be Friday, October 9, at 4:30 p.m., in Willard Hall, room 010.

The distinguished speaker is Dr. Lisa J. Cary, Senior Lecturer in Education and Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning at Australia’s Murdoch University School of Education.

Cary will speak on “Curriculum Leadership in Higher Education: Teaching and Learning in Neo-Liberal Times.”

The event is sponsored by the OSU Curriculum Studies Project and the School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership in OSU’s College of Education.

A reception and silent auction to include author signed books and other items will follow at 5:30 p.m. in the Anderson Family Willard Living Room. Proceeds benefit the Curriculum Studies Project.

The Curriculum Studies Project brings together faculty, students, and other curriculum leaders to address critical educational issues for the advancement of curriculum studies at the state, national, and international levels to enhance the graduate program of teaching and curriculum leadership, and to provide leadership for university and local educational initiatives.
