Susan Stansberry to Serve as Interim Head of SES

Susan Stansberry has been named Interim Head of the School of Educational Studies in the College of Education at Oklahoma State University.

Stansberry joined the faculty at OSU in 2001 and serves as an Associate Professor in Educational Technology. From 2009-2016, she has served as the Associate Director of Professional Education and as the Director of the T.E.C.H. Playground from 2013-2016. She was also the College of Education’s Director of Technology from 1997-2001.

Dr. Stansberry received the Oklahoma State Board of Regents Distinguished Teaching Award in 2010, the College of Education Leadership and Service Excellence Award in 2012, the Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council Outstanding Faculty Member from the College of Education in 2012, and the OSU Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award in 2004.

Stansberry earned an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction: Information, Communication & Technology from Oklahoma State University in 2001. She also holds an M.S. degree in Information, Communication & Technology and a B.S. degree in Secondary English Education from OSU.

The School of Educational Studies includes programs in aviation and space, higher education and student affairs, school administration, educational technology, school library media, social foundations and research, evaluation, measurement and statistics.
