COE to Host Literacy Expert Kathy Froelich on April 19

The OSU College of Education welcomes Dr. Kathy Froelich, an expert in the areas of literacy instruction and teaching language learners across the content areas, for a special workshop on Friday, April 19, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Willard 107. Faculty and students are invited to attend.
 
Froelich, who received her Ph.D. from Fordham University in New York, has provided professional development opportunities to teachers and literacy coaches at the national level, and has extensive classroom teaching experience. Froelich recently retired from Florida State University, where she received an FSU Undergraduate Teaching Award.
 
She is co-author, with Enrique A. Puig, of two books, The Literacy Coach: Guiding in the Right Direction and The Literacy Leadership Team: Sustaining and Expanding Success.
