High School Student Leadership Conference Set for April 26 at OSU Tulsa

The Higher Ed Forum of Oklahoma is set to host the second annual High School Student Leadership Conference on April 26, 2014, on the campus of OSU Tulsa. OSU College of Education faculty Denni Blum and Shanedra Nowell serve as co-chairs of the conference, which is dedicated to developing leadership skills that will help high school students succeed in college and in life. The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. in OSU Tulsa’s North Hall and concludes at 2:45 p.m.

Give to Support the Conference

Many Tulsa community leaders and representatives of colleges and universities across the state are part of the program. Workshop topics include leadership, service, youth activism, effective communication, relationship building and emotional intelligence.
