Macy Gleason Takes Top Award at Freshman Research Scholars Colloquium

College of Education student Macy Gleason received the Best Overall Presentation Award at the 2014 Oklahoma State University Freshman Research Scholars Colloquium on April 18. Gleason, a secondary education science major from Mannford, Okla., presented “Impact of a Science Methods Course on Pre-Service Teachers’ Understanding of Nature of Science.”
Gleason’s work was chosen from among 36 presentations by a team of 14 OSU graduate student judges. Gleason will represent OSU at next year’s National Conference on Undergraduate Research. Dr. Julie Angle served as Gleason’s project mentor.
