College Presents Morsani Outstanding Staff Award for 2014

Amber Grim and Candace Thrasher are the recipients of the 2014 Frank and Carol Morsani Outstanding Staff in the OSU College of Education.

Grim and Thrasher were nominated for the award by their peers and then selected by a committee of representatives of the faculty, staff, and students of the college to receive the award. Thrasher is the manager of Education Outreach. Grim is an administrative assistant in the School of Educational Studies.

Established in 1997, the staff award is named for the Morsanis, who have shown great generosity and support of Oklahoma State University and the College of Education. Frank Morsani grew up near Ramona, Oklahoma, and Carol is a native of Tulsa. A 1957 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College, Frank is a noted entrepreneur and the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. Carol studied interior design at OSU and is well-known nationally for her many philanthropic projects. In 2010, Frank and Carol received honorary doctorates from Oklahoma State University.
