College of Education Scholarships for 2015-16

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

The application process for College of Education scholarships for 2015-16 is underway. Last year, the College of Education proudly awarded 200 scholarships worth more than $238,000 to undergraduate and graduate students in every college program area.

The firm application deadline is at 11:30 p.m. on February 1, 2015. Read on to find everything you need to know about the scholarship application process in the College of Education.

How do I apply for College of Education scholarships?
The College of Education offers an online application process. https://education.okstate.edu/scholarship_application

The application includes two parts. Part I covers contact and academic information, financial aid and screening questions; Part II consists of essay questions and must be emailed to COE Scholarship Coordinator Amy Watters (amy.watters@okstate.edu).

A single application puts a student in the pool for all of the college scholarships for which he or she is eligible.

Who should fill out the College of Education Scholarship application?
Continuing OSU students, who are sophomores, juniors or seniors, as well as master’s and doctoral students, pursuing a degree in any College of Education program area are encouraged to apply.

Incoming freshmen and transfer students do not need to fill out the College of Education application. Incoming students are eligible for scholarships through the university application process.

When will I be notified if I receive a scholarship?
The application deadline is February 1, 2015. Selections are made and students are generally notified during the month of March if they receive a scholarship. All of the 2015-16 scholarship recipients will be recognized during a reception on Saturday, April 25, 2015.

Who can I contact if I have questions?
Questions can be directed to College of Education Scholarship Coordinator Amy Watters at (405) 744-3646, amy.watters@okstate.edu or in Willard 330.
