College of Education 3MT Competition Set for March 11

Ten graduate students will compete to represent the College of Education in the Third Annual 3MT® Competition. The preliminary contest will be held Wednesday, March 11, at 3 p.m. in room 217 of Life Science East.
The 3MT® competition is designed to foster skills development for effective and concise communication of graduate students to an educated, but non-specialist audience. Faculty and students are encouraged to attend.
Three-minute presentations will be given by Educational Leadership Studies student Michael Thomas; Occupational Educational Studies students Marlin Blankenship, Jayson Floyd, Nick Stowers, Indrit Vucaj, Anthony Smith and Muhd Omar; and Professional Education Studies students Toby Brown, Gretchen Cole-Lade and Tracy Thompson.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three presentations as well as for the people’s choice winner. In addition, the first place winner will advance to the Oklahoma State University finals to be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 3:30 pm in the Student Union Little Theater.
