Croff Partners with Tulsa Health Department for Needs Assessment

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

Through a competitive bid process, Dr. Julie Croff, assistant professor in health education and promotion, has been selected to lead a community health needs assessment for the Tulsa City-County Health Department.

“We are excited to formalize our partnership with the Tulsa City-County Health Department by helping to perform their community health needs assessment,” Croff said. “Needs assessment is an important step for public health programming, and a key responsibility of health education promotion.”

Over a three-month period Croff will lead, with assistance from a team of graduate research associates, a telephone-based survey with questions focused on demographics, use of health services and health behaviors.

Croff, who has extensive experience conducting and managing large needs-assessment research, also serves a founding director of the OSU Master of Public Health degree program.
