Health and Human Performance

Faculty and students in the Health and Human Performance Department (HHP) seek to
advance health, physical activity and sport performance through a wide range of research.
Faculty conducts research regarding human performance, physical activity and injury
management. Most research is performed in the 1400 square foot Applied Musculoskeletal
and Human Physiology Research Laboratory. The lab contains equipment used for motion
analysis, strength, power and endurance measurements and therapeutic modalities. Undergraduate,
Master’s, and Doctoral students use the lab for research and during exercise science,
athletic training and biomechanics classes.
