An Orange Carpet Affair
The Department of Design and Merchandising annually hosts Euphoria, a high-energy
runway fashion show featuring garments designed and created by junior and senior students
majoring in fashion design and production. Open to the public, tickets to the event
support department scholarships and students gain valuable, hands-on experience in
planning and executing all aspects of the event.
In the Fashion Show Production class, DM4010, students experience first-hand what
it takes to plan and execute a high-profile event. They are tasked with selecting
venues, curating music, strategizing marketing efforts and crafting the event programs.
Additionally, students collaborate closely with designers to coordinate collections
and model presentations, ensuring a cohesive and engaging fashion show.
Get Involved
Help us make this a night for you to remember.
Become a proud sponsor and be recognized for your generous contributions. Volunteer
and become a welcomed member of our community.
Over the years, our program has been fortunate to witness the creativity of several
talented seniors who have produced full collections of garments showcased during the
Euphoria Fashion Show. Their work represents a culmination of dedication and skill
honed throughout their academic journey. As we celebrate their contributions, we also
seek to learn about their ventures post-graduation, understanding the paths they’ve
chosen and the impact they continue to make in the fashion industry.
Among the leading programs in the nation, we go beyond the classroom to ensure strong
industry experience through current and evolving curriculum, insight from industry
professionals, study abroad courses, internship placements and leadership skills through
student-led organizations. We offer several different programs, in person and online,
to best fit your needs and prepare you for the future of Design and Merchandising.
