Cultivate exemplary undergraduate and graduate instruction through a professional atmosphere in which students learn, develop, promote integrity, and contribute to the broader aerospace community.
Engage in applied aerospace research and scholarly initiatives that benefit industry, general aviation, government, and the public.
Provide leadership, expertise, and professional development opportunities for aviation and aerospace professionals and the aerospace industry, and to promote a greater understanding of aerospace among the general public.

Memberships and Accreditation

We are proud to be members of and/or accredited by the organizations listed below.

Higher Learning Commission

All of the Oklahoma State University degree programs and certificates offered through the Aviation and Space Program are accredited through the Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Federal Aviation Administration

All flight degree programs and certificates operate under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are certificated under 14CFR Part 141 of the Federal Regulations. OSU was one of the first universities in Oklahoma with a program receiving this designation.

University Aviation Association

The OSU Aviation and Space Program is a member of the University Aviation Association (UAA). The UAA is the voice of collegiate aviation education to its members, the industry, government, and the general public. Through the collective expertise of its members, this nonprofit organization plays a pivotal role in the advancement of degree-granting aviation programs that represent all segments of the aviation industry.
