We explore how people learn and develop, the technologies that support instruction, and the social and historical contexts that shape education. We develop professionals who support and shape the aviation and space industry and leaders in education who work with community partners in solving complex problems. Combining our unique strengths as faculty and harnessing the passions of our students, we pursue a shared purpose: developing professionals and leaders who empower those around them, solve complex community challenges, and advance meaningful change. Utilize theoretical and applied statistical methods in education, psychology and social sciences to prepare for advanced careers in educational research and evaluation.

Social Foundations

Explore how historical, philosophical, socio-cultural, political, economic and international elements shape educational research in this interdisciplinary field.

Flight Training

Professional pilot students complete certified flight instructor training at our facility located north of the Stillwater Regional Airport. The 34-aircraft fleet includes five new Cirrus Aircraft SR20s.
