Frequently Asked Questions
- When do tours start?Tours start at 9:00am unless otherwise specified by an OOS staff member when reaching out to you.
- What do tours include?Tours include a walking tour of OSU’s campus highlighting major buildings including our OOS offices, the Student Union, the Library, classroom buildings, the Colvin, and the dorms. Tours also include a sit-down session with an OOS staff member to discuss the program in detail and to answer any questions you may have regarding the program.
- How do I find OOS on campus?
We are located in the Nancy Randolph Davis building room 018.
- If you are driving into Stillwater from I-35, you’ll enter on Highway 51. Continue on Highway 51 and turn left on Washington Street. Turn Right on Farm Road. Turn Right on Cleveland Street and then Left on Drummond Ave. Drive until you are at the orange arrow in the graphic below and look for an OOS staff member for next directions.
- If you are driving into Stillwater from the Kilpatrick Turnpike, take exit 20A to enter Stillwater and continue straight on Washington Street. Just after the intersection of Washington and Lakeview, take a slight right to continue on Washington Street. Turn right on Hall of Fame Avenue, left on Cleveland Street, and then Left on Drummond Ave. Drive until you are at the orange arrow in the graphic below and look for an OOS staff member for next directions.

- Where do I park? The best place to park is in staff lot 43 closest to the Nancy Randolph Davis building. Upon arrival, an OOS staff member will meet you in the parking lot and provide you with a parking pass that allows you to park in any blue staff lot for the day of your tour. Once parked, meet us inside Nancy Randolph Davis room 018 to start your tour!
- What should we expect if the weather is bad (rain, snow, etc.)? Barring significant safety concerns, we will walk rain or shine, so please plan accordingly! We recommend rain jackets and umbrellas. If weather is unsafe for us to tour in, an OOS staff member will reach out to you to reschedule your tour.
- What should I wear/bring to my tour?Comfortable walking shoes and weather/temperature appropriate clothing are the most important! You may also consider bringing a water bottle. OOS will provide you with informational material on the program as well as some OOS swag items upon arrival (i.e. cup, pen, notepad, stickers, etc.).
- Is this a private tour, or will other prospective students tour with me/us?On your tour request form, if you selected “I wish for my OOS tour to be private,” we will do our best to accommodate this request. If you selected “I do not require a private tour and am okay with other prospective students/families joining,” it is possible and/or likely that other prospective students and their supporters may also tour with you.
