Celebrating 100 Years

In 2024, the Cleo L. Craig Child Development Lab will mark its 100th anniversary at Oklahoma State University! 

 

As the second oldest land-grant university-based child development lab in the nation, the CDL has served the Stillwater community in various iterations since it first opened as a nursery school in 1924.

    Promoting Competence in Young Children

    Tracy Spinrad, Ph.D., Arizona State University

     

    Dr. Tracy L. Spinrad, a Professor in the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University, will be discussing the importance of children’s emotional competence for later success. Her research focuses on the development and socialization of emotion regulation and moral development in young children. 

  • Alumni Tailgate - featuring the CDL

    September 21, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. | NRD Courtyard

    The College of Education and Human Sciences Alumni Tailgate features football, food and fun! All alumni, faculty, staff and friends are welcome! 

    We'll celebrate the Child Development Lab's Centennial and tours of the lab will be available. 

    The game starts at 3:00 p.m. and will include a special on-field recognition of the CDL!
