Randall and Carol White Reading and Mathematics Center
Tutoring
We offer personalized tutoring assistance to K-8 grade students who wish to improve
their reading and mathematics skills. The tutoring sessions are offered on the OSU-Tulsa
and OSU-Stillwater campuses and involve a variety of engaging and effective activities
and best educational practices that are identified through individual assessments.
Preparing teachers
Supervised by university faculty, graduate and undergraduate teacher candidates as
well as practicing teachers gain reading and math specializations. Students learn
various ways of assessing and identifying reading and math strengths and needs, how
to analyze and interpret the results of assessments, and how to plan and implement
individualized instruction.
