Description/Inspiration

Carson’s senior collection is inspired by the romantic ideals of the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood; a bohemian group of artists that fashioned as an expression of love. The collection features seven looks that have a non-traditional take on traditional styles, venturing into unisex styling. Elements of the collection include incorporating 3D printing as textile design, sheer fabrications, and plush velvet.

Grace Goodrich

Grace Goodrich

Hometown

Edmond, OK

Name of Line

Six Feet Above

Description/Inspiration

Inspired by the weightlessness of clouds that mirrors her creativity, and the thick guidelines of the apparel industry to ground her, Grace’s collection is a group of fluffy white silhouettes that are cinched in with black accessories. She believes that art is an attempt at showing the most human parts and experiences of ourselves with others in hopes that they understand and connect. With this collection she hopes to showcase her desire to get what she's dreamt up out into the world while ensuring her work is done with industry precision.

After Graduation

Grace wants to focus on womenswear after graduation and find work as an assistant designer with a fashion company. Inspired by her internship at Cotton On in Geelong, Australia, she'd like to eventually build her career there after gaining insight and skill in the United States.

Lauren Dickens

Description/Inspiration

Lauren's collection is heavily inspired by fairy tales and the fantasy stories she enjoyed as a child. With earthy colors found in a lush green forest or meadow, Lauren's collection comes to life in a more modern style with a touch of magic.

After Graduation:

Lauren hopes to move back to Texas and develop her career in costume design and wardrobe at local theaters.

Leahna So

Leahna So

Hometown

Tulsa, OK

Name of Line

Singularity

Description/Inspiration

Leahna’s fashion collection is inspired by "girl boss energy" and inclusivity. Last summer, she had a wonderful experience as an intern with Kohl's and worked for the Nine West brand during which she had the opportunity to learn more about the plus-size fashion industry. She believes in body diversity and the encouragement of women to be proud of who they are no matter their shape. Drawing inspiration from cultural icons like Zendaya and members of the K-pop group BTS, her collection embodies what it means to be “singular” by way of unique expression and individuality using bold vibrant colors that empower the wearer, regardless of gender.

After Graduation

Leahna plans to find a job as an assistant designer and hopes to gain experience within the fashion industry to later start her own brand. She hopes to travel both domestically and internationally through her job along with her husband. Her long-term goal is to have her name on her own designs one day and to be recognized for her achievements and journey as a designer.
