Tonight, we proudly spotlight the work of our senior designers, each of whom has poured countless hours into bringing their visions to life. Their collections represent the culmination of their academic journeys, their artistic growth, and their dedication to the craft of fashion design. From concept to construction, every stitch tells a story—and we can’t wait for you to experience their final collections.
In addition to our graduating seniors, we’re excited to feature a preview of work from our talented sophomores and juniors. These emerging designers offer a glimpse into the future of fashion, full of fresh perspectives and bold ideas. Their contributions tonight hint at the creativity and innovation still to come in the years ahead.
This evening is about more than fashion—it's about honoring the journey, celebrating achievement, and looking ahead with pride and anticipation. Thank you for supporting our students and for being part of this inspiring night. We hope you enjoy the show!
Message from Show Director Yanan Yu
Welcome to Euphoria 2025! We are so glad to bring you this wonderful event again this year from the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center. This is our 14th of celebrating Euphoria Fashion Show in person, and we couldn't be more excited to share this special tradition with you.
- More
The Euphoria Fashion Show is a student-led initiative designed to provide students with invaluable, hands-on experience in organizing a high-caliber event. As their instructor, I’m so proud to support these talented students as they bring this vision to life. The Fashion Show Production course equips students with essential skills for producing a major event, including meeting tight deadlines, effectively communicating with diverse teams, and adapting quickly to unexpected changes. These experiences cultivate abilities that will undoubtedly serve them well in their future careers.
This year, students are organized into three dynamic committees, each playing a vital role in the event’s success. The Marketing Committee is primarily responsible for managing social media operations and promotion, identifying marketing opportunities to enhance Euphoria Fashion Show’s visibility, and liaising with both internal and external resources to broaden its reach. Their tasks also include collaborating with our website designer, photographer, and videographer, as well as planning and executing merchandising and sales strategies. The Show Operations Committee mainly focuses on music coordination, organizing model workshops, and managing backstage logistics. The Public Relations Committee takes charge of recruiting makeup and hair stylists, assisting with the VIP reception, and securing sponsorships for the show. In addition, a senior merchandising student was selected as the show co-producer, demonstrating exceptional leadership throughout the planning process. She skillfully oversaw the entire show timeline, coordinated efforts across committees, and ensured every detail was in place for this unforgettable evening.
Without the dedication, creativity, and hard work of these students, this show simply wouldn’t be possible. Their efforts and passion are what make Euphoria shine, and we’re incredibly grateful to have them at the heart of this event. While the preparation process is undoubtedly challenging, the results are truly rewarding. It’s always inspiring to see students grow and mature into talented designers and merchandisers—young professionals ready to take their next steps in the industry.
I hope everyone participating in this show gains valuable experience and creates unforgettable memories along the way.
Enjoy the show!
History
Sixteen years ago, the Department of Design and Merchandising began showcasing our senior designers and their work with models walking down the hallways of our department. After a couple of years, the need for a bigger showcase event became obvious. Students chose the name Euphoria, which means "a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness." The showcase moved from the department hallways to an outside tent, giving the feeling of a real New York City fashion show. But a tent in Oklahoma in April? We battled the wind, rain, storms and 32-degree weather before finally moving the show back indoors. The fashion show has been held in several locations across campus but has found a home at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.
- About Tonight's Show
Euphoria is a high-energy, runway fashion show produced by students from the Department of Design and Merchandising (DM) in the college of Education and Human Sciences.
This is our 14th year for Euphoria, and fashion design and merchandising students have worked hard to bring to you an exciting fashion show featuring student creations. This year’s show is produced and directed by nine merchandising students in the fashion show production class. It will showcase the collections of four very talented seniors. Throughout the evening you will see garments produced by fifteen designers in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of study at OSU. All the garments featured in the show have been designed, produced and created by students as class assignment or extracurricular projects.
Last year, the degree name changed to Apparel Design and Technology, to incorporate a very important skill set for the apparel industry. Several of the garments you will see tonight feature the use of 3D Digital creation. We hope you enjoy this celebration of creativity, innovation, and the exceptional talent of our students.

- Claire Kennedy
As a kid first learning about fashion, I designed a classic little red dress - simple, elegant, easy, goes with everything, the answer to all my fashion dilemmas. Unfortunately, there was nothing available like that. I thought, "It can't be that hard to make a classic red dress," and set about making it, and after I made it, that was it. I was hooked. The power of designing my own clothes to not only flatter and fit me comfortably, but to do anything I wanted - make deep pockets, high collars, cinch in my waist. It was pure magic. I've been a sewing hustler ever since, trying to teach anyone the joys of designing and creating their own look, their own style for their shape and life they lead. Sometimes, I vary from really professional to frou-frou to sleekly classic in one week!
- Crystal Bland
Meet Crystal Bland – the joyful heart and visionary behind Milo & Lily Boutique. A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising, Crystal’s fashion journey has taken her coast to coast, with professional experience in both Los Angeles and New York City. With a keen eye for bold prints and vibrant styles, she brings big city fashion flair home to Oklahoma.
In 2015, Crystal launched Milo & Lily as an online boutique, turning heads (and carts!) with her joyful, curated collections for women on the go. Just six months in, she’d recouped her entire investment, and by August of that year, opened her first brick-and-mortar location in Oklahoma City. Fast forward to today—Milo & Lily has grown into two beautiful storefronts: the flagship in Nichols Hills and a charming second location in the lake-side community of Carlton Landing.
Whether you're shopping in person or online at www.miloandlilyboutique.com, Crystal’s mission is clear: fashion should be fun, expressive, and spark serious joy.
When she’s not styling the shelves, you’ll find Crystal soaking up life with her husband Chance, their two awesome kids, and their two beloved pups. Fashion may be her passion, but family is always at the heart of it all.

- Danika Renyer - Mustang, Oklahoma
“Sunflower Wishes”
Danika is from Mustang, Oklahoma, and has always had an eye for creativity when it come to fashion and photography. Having never sewn before, Danika has strived to learn and grow her skills. Her collection, Sunflower Wishes, features inspiration from Sunflowers, important moments such as graduation, engagement, and pregnancy announcements, and her faith, giving the wearer a feeling of strength and joy. Like how sunflowers look toward the SUN, Danika, through her faith, looks toward God’s SON, Jesus. This collection is a celebration of resilience, strength, and faith that Danika has experienced through her college journey. After college, Danika wants to be a designer or technical designer.
- Callie Prather - Edmond, Oklahoma
“Butterflies to Milkweed”
Inspiration behind my collection: I was at a women's conference and a woman was praying for me when she said that she felt like God was telling her that I would bring people to the Lord like
butterflies to milkweed. I got inspired by this, so I wanted to make a collection based on the different species of butterflies and the silhouettes of them and of milkweed. Post-graduation goals: Work for a fashion brand for a few years to gain experience, then eventually create my own business/fashion brand.
- Jasmine Waller - Tulsa, Oklahoma
“Regal Reverie”
Inspiration: Study Abroad, London and Paris being the fashion capitals of the world, and studying Regency era fashion. I got to buy trim at a flea market in Paris that really sparked this collection for me.
Plans after Graduation: After graduation, I plan to work in the apparel industry, blending design and sustainability, to create impactful and inclusive fashion.
- Makenna Bayer - Austin, Texas
“Going to the Chapel”
My name is Makenna Bayer, and I’m from Austin, Texas. My senior collection, titled “Going to the Chapel,” features seven distinct outfits, each representing a key event in a bride’s journey to marriage. From the engagement and bridal shower to the bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and honeymoon, each piece is thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of a bride’s experiences along the way. The collection tells the story of one bride’s journey to unity in marriage. As someone who has always been captivated by weddings and the beauty of bridal gowns, I see the wedding day as more than just a visual experience. My inspiration is deeply rooted in the biblical symbolism of the church as the bride of Christ, and the profound concept of God's love being reflected through a husband's love for his wife. This beautiful portrayal of divine love is something worth celebrating not just on the wedding day, but throughout every stage of the bride's preparation. I also wanted to weave in the theme of purity through the color white, not as a symbol of our own perfection, but as a reminder that we are washed clean by Jesus’ sacrifice, standing pure as we enter the covenant of marriage and become part of His bride. After graduation, my goal is to pursue a career in bridal design, creating meaningful pieces that honor both the sacred and celebratory aspects of a bride’s journey.
