Aviation and Space Honors Program
The Aviation and Space Honors Program is operated in conjunction with the Oklahoma State University Honors College. A student may graduate with program honors and/or the bachelor's degree with honors.
A minimum of 12 upper division honors credit in AVED with a grade of "A" or "B" including the creative component coursework and a minimum OSU and Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5 at time of award.
Coursework
Honors contracts must include the following coursework:
- AVED 3443: Aviation Law with additional paper
- AVED 3663: Air Carrier Industry with an expanded term paper
- AVED 3433: Aviation Ethics with volunteer work at designated airport
- AVED 4100: Creative Component
As a culmination of these identified courses, the student will focus and expand their understandings of the aviation industry.
