Design of Cultural Interior Spaces
In this interdisciplinary study abroad course, you'll explore the intersections of cultural heritage, societal issues and innovative design in Mexico. The program combines elements of architecture, interior design, digital media, sociology and more. Starting with a cultural and architectural tour of Mexico City, the course transitions into a hands-on design project in Puebla, in collaboration with local students. Instructional methods include readings, experiential activities, group discussions and reflective writing assignments. The course aims to equip you with the skills and insights to apply cultural understanding to real-world design challenges.
