Teaching Statistics in High School Mathematics

June 12, 2025; 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
OSU Stillwater

Let’s build a community of Oklahoma teachers that love teaching statistics and probability. We will spend the day together with high quality activities for teaching statistics in high school and make connections within the statistics course and across the greater secondary mathematics program. We will discuss course design, resources for teaching statistics, and share ideas for growing the statistics program in your school. Last, we will share activities to help students apply their knowledge while doing the authentic work of a person that uses statistics. Leave with so much more than just activities, leave with colleagues to reach out to as you work through the year.
