Health Education and Rural Empowerment Lab
The Health Education and Rural Empowerment (HEaRE) Lab is a research collaborative in the School of Community Health Sciences, Counseling and Counseling Psychology.
Supporting the health and wellbeing
of Underrepresented Populations
Our lab members research policy, explore attitudes, pilot interventions, and engage in advocacy for and with health disparities and underrepresented populations, locally and nationally. We aim to promote knowledge and increase awareness about the unique experiences of health disparities populations and underrepresented people in rural, remote and geographically diverse areas by exploring interactions between identity, location and health.
At HEaRE lab
