Body Composition and Metabolism Study
- Purpose: To compare exercise tolerance and the post-meal metabolic response in different body composition types
- Principal Investigator: Sam R Emerson, PhD

- Inclusion Criteria: Age 18-45 years; normal weight or obese BMI; non-smoking; not pregnant; no pacemaker or electrical implants
- Compensation: None
Metabolic Validity Study
- Purpose: To determine the validity of a new, abbreviated metabolic screening test compared to the conventional test
- Principal Investigator: Sam R Emerson, PhD
- Lead Graduate Researchers: Christina Sciarrillo and Bryant Keirns
- Inclusion Criteria: Age 18-69 years; non-smoking; not pregnant; no pacemaker or electrical implants
- Compensation: $100
BaseMetrics App Study
- Purpose: To pilot test the effectiveness of a new health-tracking app on metabolic risk factors, lifestyle behaviors and health knowledge
- Principal Investigator: Sam R Emerson, PhD

- Inclusion Criteria: Age 30-64 years; not pregnant; no pacemaker or electrical implants
