The school and education administration program focuses on building leadership skills that aid students in creating superior, collaborative learning in PK-12 education. Our distinguished faculty provide relevant research-based content with practical knowledge and skills that can be put into practice immediately. Students learn best practices and techniques for instructional leadership linked to curriculum, teaching, administration and professional development. Our goal is to assist you in advancing your career in educational leadership by becoming an administrator or growing your knowledge base to deliver high-quality instruction. Graduates go on to serve as school leaders in urban, suburban and rural areas in Oklahoma and across the globe.
The program utilizes Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) standards to guide course development and improvement and is recognized by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
