Genius Edition

The Oklahoma State University College of Education and Human Sciences recognizes you as a champion in The Game of Life, and we want to help you perfect a game strategy for your senior year so it won’t feel like a lot of Scrabble. Join us for College Pursuit: Genius Edition on January 27th to make your play in the college application game as easy as a round of Candy Land and to get a Clue about becoming a successful college student.  Through four game rounds and connections with campus experts and current students, you’ll be set to continue your winning streak well into your college experience.

Round 1: I’ll Take ‘Be an OSU Cowboy’ for 1000

Ever wonder if you’re in Jeopardy of missing critical steps for enrollment, housing and scholarships? Wonder no more. This is Jeopardy! Join our hosts as they guide you to become a champion of all things “next steps” in the smartest game in all of Cowboy Land!

 

Round 2: Strategies to Win at Career Jenga

Whether you’re balancing the bricks of Jenga or building your professional future, you need a strong foundation. Do you know the building blocks for your future career? The College of Education & Human Sciences career development team is excited to show you how to construct your foundation, plan your next move, build up to your goal, and keep it all from tumbling down! 

 

Round 3: The Dating Game of Opportunities Beyond the Classroom

With over 500 organizations, study abroad options, research and more, it can be hard to know which opportunities to dump, which ones to date, and which ones will be a partner for your college lifetime and beyond. What’s your perfect match to build your leadership experiences, make some important contributions, learn and have some fun? Join us to discover how to choose the right opportunities for you! 

 

Round 4: Embracing the Cowboy Land Community

When students arrive on the OSU campus, they join both the OSU and Stillwater community. It’s an amazing Cowboy Land located in Orange Country!  As you start down our orange and black road during this session, learn and experience some of the awesome resources and fun places that make OSU and Stillwater a home to so many.
