Elizabeth Rendina-Ruedy
Elizabeth Rendina-Ruedy
Elizabeth Rendina-Ruedy is an assistant professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center who specializes in biogenergetics and metabolic pathways. Previously, she was a staff scientist at the Maine Medical Center Research Institute. A three-time OSU alumna, Redina-Reudy earned both a nutritional sciences master’s (2009) and Ph.D. from the College of Education and Human Sciences (2014) and also holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry (2007). In 2019, she was named one of 10 international recipients of the John Haddad Young Investigator Award by the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
Sherri Glazier
Sherri Glazier
Sherri Glazier received her bachelor’s degree in human sciences in 2010 and earned her master’s degree in nutritional sciences along with completing her dietetic internship in 2012. She is currently a clinical/outpatient dietitian at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. In 2016, she became the consultant dietician to the Oklahoma Beef Council, serving as the health and nutrition liaison between Oklahoma’s beef farmers and ranchers and the medical and health professional communities within the state.
Claire Gish
Claire Gish
Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences: dietetics in 2009 and a master’s degree in the same field in 2011, Claire Gish has worked in Tulsa as a Clinical Dietitian at the Laureate Eating Disorder Program, a part of the Saint Francis Health System. She serves as the manager of nutrition therapy for the program and is also on the board of the Oklahoma Eating Disorder Association.

Afework Mulugeta Bezabih
Afework Mulugeta Bezabihearned a doctorate in human environmental sciences with a specialization in nutritional sciences in 2009. H e is an associate professor and Ph.D. program coordinator at Mekelle University in Ethiopia, where he was responsible for developing the Master of Science program in nutrition and the Ph.D. program in Public Health. He has conducted award-winning research on Hepatic Veno Occlusive Disease and serves as a consultant to the Ministry of Health in Ethiopia.

Autumn Only A Chief
Autumn Only A Chief is a first-generation college graduate who earned her nutritional sciences undergraduate degree from OSU in 2017 and went on to pursue a degree in physical therapy at the University of Southern California.
Jo Ann Millsap Pegues
Jo Ann Millsap Pegues
Jo Ann Millsap Pegues, 1961 nutritional sciences graduate, spent nearly 30 years at the United States Department of Health and Human Services Administration on Aging. She was a regional nutrition specialist, advancing to program specialist, state liaison, chief of program development, acting regional program director, team leader and trainer. Her professional accomplishments and outstanding service to the dietetics profession led to the highest award the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics can give – the Medallion Award.
Ladd
Ladd
Ladd completed her bachelor’s degree in human dietetics at OSU in 1990 and currently serves as the Senior Technical Director for Nutrition with ACDI/VOCA, an agricultural development organization that helps small farmers participate in the world economy through improved agriculture and market systems. She has worked overseas with nutritionally vulnerable populations and in Washington, D.C. as a nutritionist for the International Medical Corp., an emergency medical group that responds to disasters worldwide.
Kristen Smith
Kristen Smith
Kristen Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in 2004. She completed the dietetic internship program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and went on to earn a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. Smith currently serves as the program coordinator for bariatric surgery at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta. She also founded 360 Family Nutrition in 2012, a family-focused blog that provides nutrition tips and resources as well as counseling for weight loss clients.
Swarna L Mandali
Swarna L Mandali
Swana Mandali earned a doctorate in human environmental sciences with a nutrition specialization in 2001. Mandali is a professor of nutrition and dietetics at the University of Central Missouri. She has served 12 years as a registered dietitian and as a certified nutrition support clinician in the dietetic profession.
