Successful candidates will demonstrate superior writing skill, an ability to conduct original research, clearly articulated goals and objectives that are consistent with the desired degree option, strong endorsement by professional references who can address the applicant’s academic ability, and knowledge in the field of specialization.
To apply to the PhD in Education, option in Science Education or Mathematics Education options, complete the following:
- Graduate College Application
- Transcripts from all previously attended institutions (3.0 minimum graduate GPA required)
- A master’s degree in a related field.
- Current resume/vita
- Three letters of recommendation
- Example of Scholarly/Academic Writing
- Personal and Career Goal Statement
