Staff Advisory Council

Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is comprised of seven elected staff members from the College of Education and Human Sciences. We seek to represent the needs and concerns of college staff to the College Leadership Team in a positive and transparent manner to promote a supportive and productive work environment.

SAC advises the College Leadership Team of staff concerns and makes recommendations to address those concerns.

Feedback

The university offers the following mechanisms to address issues that fall outside the purview of SAC.

  • OSU Ombuds Office: The office serves as a resource for all members of the OSU community on the Stillwater, OSU-Tulsa and OSU-IT in Okmulgee campuses. Services are provided for faculty, students, and staff, and offer a safe, CONFIDENTIAL, place to talk about campus-related problems and concerns, between or among individuals and/or with organizations.
  • OSU EthicsPoint: OSU has selected EthicsPoint to provide easy ways to discreetly and confidentially report activities that may involve criminal, unethical, or otherwise inappropriate behavior in violation of OSU policies. Addressing misconduct and other concerns early on will help minimize negative morale issues and financial impact to OSU employees, vendors and students.
