Leadership University
People. Passion. Purpose. These words define how we seek to improve lives in the Oklahoma State University College of Education and Human Sciences, and they also describe how members participate in many career-related contests through the FCCLA, HOSA and Educators Rising professional leadership student organizations. Join the us for Leadership University: From Contests to College from Oct. 19-23, 2020, as we build on this connection to help you succeed now and into your future.
Our college has dedicated faculty and staff who study and work in areas related to many of the contests you participate in as an FCCLA, HOSA and/or Educators Rising student leader, including HOSA physical therapy, Educators Rising job interview and FCCLA nutrition and wellness events, to name just a few. Throughout our week-long virtual Leadership University event, we will be electronically sharing some of our academic resources and tips to help you build your knowledge related to your contests, help you outshine the competition and connect your FCCLA, HOSA and/or Educators Rising contest interests to academic and career opportunities in our college. Each day, we will release a new set of contest support videos developed by knowledgeable members of the Education and Human Sciences family.
You will also have the chance to hear from successful Education and Human Sciences students who are former members of FCCLA, HOSA and Educators Rising and to learn live about the OSU admissions and scholarship processes. Additionally, the week will include a live Question and Answer Forum for Parents.
