Hall of Fame
This lifetime achievement award is the highest honor bestowed by the college. Hall
of Fame inductees should exemplify the values of Oklahoma State University and the
college through their service to others, leadership achievements, professional accomplishments
and community contributions. Additionally, recipients’ personal and professional successes
have brought honor and distinction to OSU and, ultimately, make society a better place.
Those nominated for this prestigious award must be an Oklahoma State University graduate
from a College of Education and Human Sciences undergraduate or graduate degree program
(this included degrees earned from the College of Education, Health and Aviation and
the College of Human Sciences, as well as the College of Education and Human Sciences).

- The selection committee may induce one of the recipient(s) posthumously.
- Living recipients must attend the induction ceremony. If a recipient cannot attend
the ceremony, their award will be presented at the following year’s ceremony.
- Nominees must be graduates of the College of Education, Health and Aviation, College
of Human Sciences and/or the College of Education and Human Sciences of Oklahoma State
University.
- Evaluation of nominees is based on their contributions to society, professional accomplishments
and their contributions to the college and OSU. While not mandatory criteria, contributions
to the advancement of the College of Education and Human Sciences and/or OSU and service
to the OSU may be considered.
- Officers of the College Alumni Society and members of the OSU Alumni Association Board
of Directors are not eligible for this award.
- Persons employed by Oklahoma State University; members of the OSU Board of Regents;
persons active in positions directly relating to University operations, such as state
officials, state legislators, and members of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher
Education, are not eligible.
- Nominations are in the nominee pool for a total of three years (the original nomination
year and two subsequent years). After three years, the nomination must be resubmitted
for consideration.
Outstanding Alumni
The Outstanding Alumni award is given to those who demonstrate significant promise
toward establishing a distinguished career and making impactful contributions to their
profession and beyond. Honorees seek opportunities to grow in their talents and purposefully
serve others. Their quest for excellence is shown through their accomplishments, service
to the community and leadership potential. Those nominated for this award must be
an Oklahoma State University graduate from a College of Education and Human Sciences
undergraduate or graduate degree program (this included degrees earned from the College
of Education, Health and Aviation and the College of Human Sciences, as well as the
College of Education and Human Sciences).
